Satan's disowned children are once again slipping on their hoods and frocks to give birth to one of the dirtiest and heaviest sludge/doom record of recent times. Acclaimed here and there, their previous EP "Open The Gates Of Shambhala" was our first release and allowed them to inflict tinnutus and stiffness while opening for Electric Wizard, Ramesses and many more. Now we're proud to introduce you to "Atavist Of Mann", the debut album from Brittany's own HUATA. 60 minutes as a giant middle finger to modernism : recorded in the middle of nowhere by Kristian Keyboard Production, this slow procession of anvil riffs smoke-filled enough to make your mouth feel all furry, of liturgical atmospheres played with Hammond organ and clean vocals singed by the devil himself will pervert the most innocent souls. Seven tracks that crown a band who has been able to go to the very bitter end of its process , musically as well as aesthetically, and a record meant to be a milestone, at least by outclassing menopause on the podium of the causes of prolapse.

Les gamins désavoués du Très-Bas renfilent capuches et robes de bure pour enfanter l'un des doom/sludge les plus crades et telluriques de ces derniers temps. Leur précédent EP "Open The Gates Of Shambhala", acclamé ça et là, était notre première sortie et leur aura permis de distribuer acouphènes et courbatures en première partie d'Electric Wizard, Ramesses et tant d'autres. Nous sommes aujourd'hui fiers de vous présenter "Atavist Of Mann", premier album des bretons d'HUATA, 60 minutes en guise de bras d'honneur au modernisme : enregistré au milieu de nulle part par les bons soins de Kristian Keyboard Production, cette lente procession de riffs-enclumes enfumés à t'en filer la pâteuse, d'ambiances liturgiques bercées à l'orgue Hammond et de voix claires dictées par le Malin himself pervertira jusqu'aux plus purs d'entre vous. Sept titres qui consacrent un groupe ayant pu aller au bout de sa démarche, aussi bien musicalement qu'esthétiquement, et un album destiné à faire date, ne serait-ce qu'en surclassant la ménopause sur le podium des causes de descente d'organes.
