PIGEON always keep loud and heavy even in the slowly parts, they say it’s "funeral hardcore" because they are not enough chaotic, or slow, or heavy or filthy to perfectly fit in a case…it can be true, but like i say they always keep in the loud and heavy line, they shout some slow parts not to often that reminds me a ton to Takaru in the slow parts. If you are into bands like Takaru, Gaza, Cursed, early Amenra…you should try these guys. (Music As Heroin)

There is something purely authentic and honest about Infant Island's music. These songs are substantial in their impact that go deep under the surface. The sound mix is everywhere (track 3 on headphones?!?!) with some of the slower nuanced moments giving needed space for maximum effect when the violent intensity hits. But on career highlight "Awoken," they leave nothing behind. A must hear song from an increasingly important band.

I went to go see them on a friend's recommendation when they were still called Code Orange Kids, a free show during Sled Island in Calgary, and I was beyond blown away! Their take on modern hardcore is what makes them so unique, not afraid to try new sounds and still keep it heavy as fuck!

La mine, c'est le lieu qui met le plus en exergue les disparités sociales : d'un côté ils sont des milliers à descendre dans les entrailles de la terre, de l'autre une poignée s'élève socialement ; d'un côté ils meurent par centaines sous l'effet des coups de grisou, de l'autre ils consolident leurs richesses. Cette dualité, elle traverse aussi Kentucky : d'un côté le black metal atmosphérique asphyxiant, de l'autre l'americana et le folklore héroïque. Panopticon est dans la lutte permanente !
